9 days left until our court date is heard, things are getting pretty hairy in the adoption world, it seems that if your child was abandoned, no info left about them ect.., the courts are now re-evaluating these cases, taking more time, keeping loving families temporarily stalled in their process, our daughter was brought to the orphanage by her birth father, her mother had passed away, we are not in this group, but we have obstacles in our journey, dad lives about 400 miles away and needs to be at court may 15th,yikes how does that happen, God please find him and bring him to court! we are praying and our little one needs to pass the TB test, please pray for us and all the families in a holding pattern right now, let's pray these babes home!!!

    You all are in our prayers. We have court the day before you. We have a similar situation. Our girls birth father died and her birth mom brought her to the orphanage. I think her birth mother lives in Addis, but I'm not sure. I will be praying hard that she will make it to court, and I will be praying your daughters birth father makes it too.

    Glad to hear you aren't in that delayed situation. We've not heard anything yet, so I hope "no news is good news."
